How will Unisa communicate the outcome of my application for admission?
Unisa will send feedback to the e-mail address you used during your application. Please check your e-mail regularly for Unisa’s feedback.
I’m concerned that Unisa did not receive my application fee. What should I do?
If you have paid the application fee, we suggest that you submit your proof of payment to your nearest Unisa regional office or scan your proof of payment and e-mail it to firstname.lastname@example.org
When will I know if my application has been accepted?
If you applied for a qualification that is not yet full, you will receive feedback as soon as your application is processed. Please note that this may take some time, however, as Unisa has received thousands of applications.
If you have applied for a qualification with limited spaces, and you qualify for admission, your application will go through a ranking process. If there is space, you will receive an offer from Unisa for the 2020 academic year.
Please note the following:
- Spaces are limited. If you qualify for admission, but do not receive an offer, you will be placed on a waiting list. Applicants on the waiting list will only be accommodated once spaces become available.
- Applicants on the waiting list may only hear during the registration period whether or not there is additional space.
How long do I have to accept or decline Unisa’s offer?
If Unisa makes you an offer for the 2020 academic year, you have 10 days to accept or decline the offer: www.unisa.ac.za/acceptoffer
If Unisa does not hear from you within 10 days, the university will revoke (withdraw) your offer and give it to the next qualifying applicant.
